Heath Ledger- How Terribly Sad

His baby girl will probably have no direct memory of him. Hopefully, the rabid dogs with cameras will leave her and the rest of his family alone during this tragic time.

I enjoyed him in Brokeback Mountain, also in The Patriot and 10 Things I Hate About You.

But A Knight's Tale is how I will always remember him best. It's one of my all-time favorite movies and I couldn't guess at how many times I've watched it. I suppose I could get all artsy-fartsy and say that I find the juxtaposition of the modern elements with the medieval setting intriguing and unique. And I did. But the bottom line is that I love this movie because it grabs me and pulls me along for the ride, leaving me with a big smile on my face. And that HEA... *sigh*

And here's my absolute favorite scene in the movie. I just love that moment when we realize that the music has morphed into Bowie's Golden Years. It's just magical and never fails to elicit a huge smile from me...

I just had to post this next video over here. In light of today's tragic news, the music choice in this music video is eerily prophetic-- In the End by Linkin Park. It gave me the chills because it was posted on YouTube a year ago...

WTF??? I just googled story and can't believe it. I first saw him in "10 Things I Hate About You" and fell in love with him. Wow, that just kind of blows.

Yeah, I was over on Karen Scott's blog a couple of hours ago and someone popped in and posted about his death in the comments there. I still cannot believe it! What a shame.
