The Divas Are Back! The Divas Are Back!

Project Runway Season 5 starts tonight at 9 PM EDT on Bravo TV. This is the last season before PR moves to Lifetime TV.

Watch a preview.

(BTW, sorry blogging and blog visits have been so sporadic. With summer here, it just seems like there is always something going on and I'm trying to fit work in around it all.)

I used to watch this show all the time. Loved it! This an all the other reality shows, but now I just can't keep up with all of them. Now I wait until they do a marathon and just watch the whole thing before the finale.

So many blogs, so little time. : )

It's summer, what are you gonna do? And especially you have kids. A full time job during summer.

And frankly, because of you, my TBR pile is making the guest room look like I'm one of the crazy people who has so much stuff piled up that you can only walk through a tiny path created. So, it's good I get a break from your recommends and reviews or I'd be committed soon.

I'm just so unselfish like that. :D

Wow!! Another thing we have in common! LOL, LKH nonwithstanding...

I am the opposite of a fashionista, usually wearing paint splattered tshirts and mortar filled capris, but I love this show... I watched it from the first season.

MB, thank you. I can now justify my lack of blogosphere contributions as a public service to protect you from an out of control TBR.

Wytherin, even on my absolute best days as my younger self, those PR fashions are beyond me. But that show is one of only a handful that I consider to be appointment TV. My PR and Lost addictions are also shared with my oldest daughter and we sit and dish about them.

Seneca, never fear, there WILL be repeats. If nothing else, tune in an hour earlier NEXT week for a repeat of THIS week.

Didja watch, didja watch? I can't tell a lot of the girls apart. I'm also fascinated by the wacked out tanned kids who's supposedly 23.

I've gotten into Shear Genius as well.

So glad my tv night is back.

I always have a problem with the early shows, too many blowhards trying to be santino... It takes a few weeks to get down to business and the exhaustion and eliminations to weed out the wannabes....

The first season was still the best, with Jays sincere bitchiness and when the models were actually part of the process...

I'm still getting a feel for these designers. Leathah woman's (can't remember her name)garbage bags were the WORST and should have been her elimination last week, but this week, she figured out how to add her own sense of design into what her client/model requested.

Suede did a helluva interesting dress this week too (the winning design). What a HOOT that the models were not only clients, but had to do the shopping and the whine-babies had to work with whatever they bought. HEE-hee... LURVED IT!

But will someone explain to me how or maybe I should say WHY all those designers who picked tablecloths and shower curtains that first week thought they were being soooooo creative and original?! They were even SURPRISED that so many others picked them! DUH!

I'm feeling less excited and more underwhelmed after Epi 2. Lots of whiny babies!

Did you know that Wesley (who just got booted) and Daniel (of the Solo cup dress) are dating? How cute are they?

I think more than the shows themselves I am enjoying all the conspiracy theories on the web right now.. How Bravo is trying to kill this show before it moves to lifetime...

Can I just register a complaint about how people always seem to take a great show, thats pretty straightforward and tweak it till it doesn't resemble the original show you fell in love with? It was happening before this season with Project Runway...and it makes wytherin sad.... So sad that wytherin will still watch... but be sad... Wytherin is a hetersexual old lady who loved her Project Runway , and is now sad...

You mean Wytherin didn't love last season? I thought it was the best ever!

And I feel sorry for who ever wins this season because they won't get the backing from Bravo that previous winners have had. I wonder if they will allow previous winners work to show up on the Lifetime shows?

Devon, REALLY? AWWW that's so sweet... young divas in lurve. And yes, I agree that they are a bunch of underwhelming whiney cry-babies so far.

No, wytherin was left cold by Christians fierceness... Although Wytherins daughter loved him with a passion... Wytherin enjoyed second seasons santino, chloe, daniel,Uli et all...and loved her Bad Mommy Laura from season 3 (you don't just pull craftsmanship out of your ass like that.)

last season was a ho and hum...

Really good question, Bev.

The young'uns loved them some Christian, huh? I wavered between love to hate and just plain hate.
