Our Wedding

And you know what? 25 years, 4 kids, umpteen pounds later, I can honestly say that 25 MORE still wouldn't be anywhere near enough.

Wow! Congratulations!!!

You guys look so cute together. And you're so lucky, really, that you both found the right person on the first try around. It's so rare these days.

I hope you have another 25 years.

Cheers. *raising a glass of champagne*

Yep, lucky and blessed. If I could have a wish come true for my kids, it would be that they too find their lifemate and live long and happy lives together.

Aww, yay! Congratulations!

I hope the next 25 are just as wonderful. :)

I'm gonna agree with Madelynne. I love that dress. It looks a period piece. Really beautiful and different.

Thanks guys! Yes that dress, and especially the headpiece and veil were quite fashion forward in small town Ohio circa 1983.

Surprisingly, I remember quite a bit about that day. I even remember what you guys danced to for your first song! I actually remember the first time we met Tim over at those apartments. I think it was one of the times we picked Mattatha up after you used her as a child slave laborer ;-)

#1- YOUR mother told me that Tatha LOVED to clean and WANTED to come help me. So VOLUNTEER LABOR!

#2- My kids laugh whenever you three show up on the wedding video.

#3- So... what was the song?

My first real experience with country-ish music.
Always think of your wedding on the occasions I hear it.

And I still remember your shimmy to Mac for some reason. Loved Mac...

And, yeah, I would probably laugh at us in the video too. Funky old prarie dresses and burnt out frazzled perms. Ugh!

You wouldn't have copied to DVD yet to make a copy for my kids to laugh at, would you?

Well, I'll be damned--- you're right!

"And I still remember your shimmy to Mac"

Mac? I remember the shimmy, but who's Mac?

LOL! Yep, funky prairie dresses describes them perfectly!

I HAVE copied them to DVD. But damned if I can get the DVDs to play on anything but the Zenith VHS/DVD burner I burned them on! And it REALLY pisses me off. I thought the only concern was +R or -R, but both my desktop and laptop read both and they do not see the DVD on their drives.

GRRRRR

You know, a friend tried to copy a show for me and the same thing happened. Two DVD players and 3 computers which can read all formats, couldn't even read that there were any files on the disk.

I wonder if Zenith did that on purpose? It seems rather stupid. Most players these days can read all or most formats, so something's up with that.

I've only burned to DVD or copied DVD's on my computer and everyone I've sent them to has been able to see them. So maybe it's something with a specific brand of DVD copier.

How stupid at any rate.

Awww... I like Anne Murray. How cute that you played and Anne Murray song at your wedding.

Oh drat! I always type "and" for "a" or "an" Will I never learn?

MB, it's a VCR/DVD player that also burns CDs. But evidently, there's something about the way it burns them that none of my PCs can read.
