I bought Lover Unbound yesterday. My Chapters put it out early, so I ran out ASAP.
I haven't started it yet though.
I'm still annoyed over the last book. And the killing of Wellsie. And I don't know if I can deal with the pimp talk right now. I hear that there are no Lesser POV's, so thats a HUGE bonus.
Actually, the pimp talk is less pronounced and seems a bit more natural in this one. And yes, we do NOT have to deal with all that lesser bullshit in this one.
Glad to it. I'm stuffing myself full of Anita Blake right now, but once I pull myself away (I can't seem to stop reading her) I'll start on Lover Unbound.

Welcome to my world! LOL! I've read those books over and over and over. There was a time last year when I had 5 or 6 books by other authors started and laying all over the house. I just could NOT get into any of them. Turns out, I just needed an LKH fix, so I immersed myself in the ABVH and then the Merry Gentry books for a couple of weeks. After that, I was able to get back to reading other authors.
OMG, I don;t know what is happening! I have been reading them back to back. I have tried reading different books between them, but all I can think of is Anita.
BWHAHAHAHAHA!!! They're like crack aren't they? NOBODY makes characters seem as real as Laurell writes them.
